Plan Options

When students living in the residence halls register for their room, they choose one of three meal plan options. Non-resident students can also purchase a plan by visiting the Cardinal Card Office.  

A meal plan includes meal swipes and Flex dollars.  Meal swipes give you access to The Market during dinner periods and weekends by swiping your student ID card at the register. You can also use your student ID card to use Flex dollars - the Flex dollars on your card allow you to purchase from The Market, Caffeinated Cardinal, or the Residence Hall Convenience Store.

Meal swipes expire a the end of each semester, but Flex dollars carry from Fall to Spring semester and terminate at the end of the academic year.  If you run out of flex, you can add more to your account by contacting the Cardinal Card Office at 208-625-2339.

Flex Dollars

Can be used in all of our location the same as cash, but when the balance is loaded on your ID, it is much more secure! Reload your balance anytime! Accepted at The Market, Caffeinated Cardinal or the Residence Hall Convenience Store.
